This explains what we collect when you use jumpstartgeo.com, why we collect it, who else can see it, and how to tell us to stop.

Jumpstart GEO is an SEO and Generative Engine Optimization agency based in Alexandria, Virginia. This policy covers the website at jumpstartgeo.com. We have written it in plain language instead of legal boilerplate so you will actually read it.
What we collect
We only collect what you hand us, plus standard analytics. There is no account system or profile building, and we do not buy data from brokers.

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive personal information. Please do not include payment card details, government identifiers, or health information in a contact form message.
Cookies and tracking
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic. It sets cookies that recognise a returning browser and records how the site is used. We also store two small items in your browser's local storage: your privacy choice, so we can honour it on your next visit, and a cached note of which country and state you are browsing from, so the consent banner knows which rules apply to you.
The consent banner appears if you are in a US state with a comprehensive privacy law, or if you are visiting from outside the United States. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as an opt out of sale and sharing automatically and do not show you a banner, because you have already answered.
Your choices
You can change your mind at any time using the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link, which appears in the footer of every page on this site. It reopens the banner so you can accept or reject.
You can also turn off cookies in your browser settings, or install a browser or extension that sends a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honour automatically.
Who else sees your data
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We use the following service providers to run the site, and they process data only on our instructions:
- Vercel hosts the site and processes server logs.
- Supabase stores contact form, booking, and guide request records.
- Cloudflare sits in front of the site as a content delivery network.
- Google Analytics provides traffic measurement.
- Resend delivers the confirmation emails we send you.
- Zoom hosts your strategy call if you book one.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and booking records are kept for as long as we may need them for the business relationship, and no more than three years after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Analytics data follows Google's own retention settings. Server logs are short lived.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete information we hold about you
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and of targeted advertising
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
To exercise any of these, email hello@jumpstartgeo.com or call (703) 229-2132. We will verify your request by replying to the email address we already hold for you, and we aim to respond within 45 days.
If we refuse your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the word "appeal" and your reasons. We will respond to the appeal within 60 days and, if we still refuse, tell you how to contact your state attorney general. Virginia and Colorado residents in particular have this right by statute.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If we make a material change to how we handle your information, we will post a notice on the site.
